Canyon Glide

A side-on glider run through tightening canyons. Climb and dive to stay in the gap, slip through thermal rings to refuel, and boost in short bursts. Flying close is what pays: skim a spire tip or shave the rock wall and your multiplier climbs, and it multiplies every metre you cover. Deeper in, slabs let go of the ceiling and tumble across your line. Amber ridge gives way to storm cuts and night mesa — how far can you fly?

Tips for Canyon Glide

  • Small corrections beat big ones, but the middle of the gap is where the low scores live — the multiplier only grows when you fly close to something.
  • Thermal rings refuel you and bump the multiplier, so route through them even if it means a little extra climbing.
  • Boost in short bursts on straight stretches. It's hard to steer out of trouble while boosting.
  • Skimming a spire tip pays double what shaving a wall pays, and the multiplier fades four seconds after the last close pass — string them together.
  • A slab that has let go of the ceiling puffs dust first. Decide early whether you are beating it across or waiting behind it.
