Arcade Action
Waves, upgrades and one more run — pure arcade pressure.
About Arcade Action games
Arcade action games are short, loud and built to be replayed. A run lasts a few minutes, the pressure climbs every wave, and the reason to start again is that you now know what killed you last time. They are made for one hand on a phone as much as for a keyboard: you steer, and the rest looks after itself.
The four here each ask for something different. Coreguard is a defence: your gun fires itself at whatever is closest, so the game is about where you fly, and every wave you survive lets you refit the drone. Hookline is one button — hold to throw a grapple at the next mast and let go at the top of the swing, with a flood rising underneath you. Emberline is a climb up a burning shaft where every jump crosses to the other wall and hanging about costs you height. Backfire gives you no gun at all: you hold a shield on a pivot and send each shot back to the turret that fired it.
All four keep your best on the device you play on, and none of them need an account or a download.
