Minefield
A logic puzzle of hidden mines. Open a square and its number tells you how many mines touch it; use those clues to open every safe square and flag the rest. Your first square is always safe. Tap an open number to clear around it once its mines are flagged. Easy, Medium and Hard boards with a best time for each.

How Minefield works
Every square hides either a mine or a number. The number says how many of the eight squares touching it are mined — no more, no less. Your first click is always safe, and it opens a whole area, which is where the first clues come from.
Work from the numbers outward. A 1 that touches exactly one unopened square has found its mine: flag it. Once a number has as many flags around it as its value, the rest of its neighbours are safe, and tapping the number opens them all at once. Repeat that and most of a board unravels without a single guess.
Some positions really do come down to a coin flip, and then it pays to guess where the board is thin — a corner or an edge touches fewer squares than the middle. Flags are planted with a long press on a phone or with the flag mode button, and each board size keeps its own best time.
Tips for Minefield
- The first square you open is always safe, and so are the squares around it.
- A 1 touching exactly one hidden square means that square is a mine. Flag it, then tap the 1 to open everything else around it.
- Look for 1-2-1 and 1-2-2-1 patterns along an edge. They tell you exactly where the mines are.
- Only guess when you truly have to, and guess away from the densest numbers.
